We believe sport drives a passion for learning and leading. The LPSD Hockey Academy offers a program that allows students to learn through sport. Students’ maximum performance levels are realized through deliberate practice and effort to create balance in the development of competence and character for academics and athletics.
The program will offer 2 on-ice training sessions per week in order to develop athletics, academics, and character. The program has been an important part of LPSD's offerings for the last 10+ years. Helping students engage in their schoolwork while pursuing athletic goals is a proven model that we are proud to offer within our division. The current economic situation in our community does affect our program moving forward and we would like to help out as much as possible.
The annual tuition fee for Hockey Academy for the 2023-24 school year to $1200. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required once a student is accepted into the academy at the beginning of May.
